“I fought going to see a therapist for over a year, but my daughters and my husband kept on at me and I gave in. How I wish I’d found Jessica earlier……. On my first session I was very nervous, but Jessica immediately put me at ease and I feel so comfortable talking to her. It really is such a relief to get things off my chest, be completely honest about how I’m feeling, to feel understood and not be judged. She’s patient, thoughtful and always positive in her attitude, I feel like I’ve found a new friend. One that says it’s ok to feel the way I do, but can also help me look at things from a different perspective. I would have no hesitation in recommending Jessica, she’s been wonderful to and for me. I’m looking forward to my next visit. I wouldn’t be without her.”
“Ashleigh, really helped me through a period in my life where I was struggling, she helped me to understand what I was feeling/ experiencing and lead me on the path to being myself again. I highly recommend seeing Ashleigh if you feel in a similar situation.”
“Jess was very helpful and really kind and gentle and assisted me when i was at a point where had low confidence, it made me realise that the issues were and a year on i have made all the changes and living my best life”
“A really positive experience!!!! Being able to do the sessions from home made it much easier for us with work and the children. Sian was warm and fair to both. It was amazing how quickly she drilled down to find out both our perspectives, she also said that couple therapy it was like holding a mirror up to us both to see how our individual behaviour might not be helping the relationship, but she never once blamed either of us. Highly insightful!”
“I went for Counselling because my temper was starting to affect my relationship. I didn't really know what to expect but Sian was great. I learnt to notice when I was getting wound up before it got too far and deal with things differently. My partner has noticed a difference too which probably says more than I can. I also didn’t feel embarrassed, which is what I was worried about”
“I was a bit cynic about therapy but decided to give it a go as I was struggling with anger and getting irritated over quite small things. Sian was really down to earth and very easy to talk to and didn't make me feel like I was being judged. We looked at what was actually behind some of my reactions and how I could catch myself earlier rather than going from nought to 100. I now know that my reactions were usually irrational. I would recommend Sian to anyone who gets angry easily”
“Elcin was fantastic, a very calming presence and very helpful for me at a particularly challenging time in my life. Highly reccomend”
“Katrina listens carefully and asks direct questions to get to the point. She is realistic about what she can achieve and offers advice and guidance accordingly. She is a little quirky but in a good way and I benefitted from her sessions and came away with some ideas and suggestions which I subsequently put into practice.”
“Jolanta is a very warm person, who makes you feel at ease. I spoke with Jolanta about many varied topics and each time she was able to help me view challenges in a more positive light. Working with Jolanta has enabled me to make a major life decision, which previously I had struggled with. I highly recommend Jolanta.”
“Katrina listened well She interpreted my body language very sensitively which made me feel supported. I would have liked wore opportunity to practise CBT strategies.”
“We came to counselling after trust had been broken in our relationship and at the time I wasn't sure whether we would stay together. The first few sessions weren't easy and there were definitely things that were difficult to hear, but Sian never took sides and somehow managed to keep us talking even when one of us wanted to shut down. Over time we started to understand what had happened between us rather than just going over the same arguments. We also learnt how differently we both deal with conflict, which explained quite a lot! We still have things to work on but we feel like a couple again rather than two people constantly against each other. I'm very grateful to Sian for all her help and would recommend couple counselling to anyone.”
“I had sessions with Ellen from January to April this year. I can wholeheartedly say that Ellen made me feel so welcome and understood. She does a fantastic job of offering advice and providing a new perspective for me to approach my difficulties with. It was really great to have someone that got me and had my back when I was fighting the problems I had been carrying around. I was hesitant to start my sessions for fear of being judged or just getting nothing out of it. However, following my sessions with Ellen, I have been recommending her and therapy overall as a great tool to feel more secure and in control of your life. Thank you Ellen for the skills that you taught me. If I ever needed therapy again in the future, I would be coming back to you.”
“I saw Elcin for a few sessions about family issues. She works in a lovey, inspiring setting which feels secure. She listened calmly and responded gently, giving me space to explore and try to make sense of the situation. I felt more empowered having seen her and also had some ideas to put into practice.”
“Claire was amazing, I had tried counselling in the past and not got on with it at all. My experience with Claire was really positive and I highly recommend if you are thinking of getting support - thank you Claire”
“Jolanta was very helpful in suggesting lots of different methods of overcoming my anxiety. She was really excellent and took the time to understand what my problem was and suggesting a lot of help and information to me. I was getting married and was very worried about my Big Day. I was able to get through it with her help and support. Many thanks and best wishes to Jolanta. I have no hesitation in recommending her. She is kind, supportive, and offered a relaxed session, which made you feel very trusting of her excellent and professional services.”
“I started my sessions as a sceptic, but as we continued I began to find the sessions interesting and began to understand a bit more. Talking to Clare gave me a different perspective on things. Would I recommend her. Yes.”
“Had CBT for anxiety and found it really helpful. Sian made me feel comfortable from the first session and never felt judged. I do sometimes have anxious days but I cope with them so much better now. Thank you!”
“Shireen was warm and welcoming on this my first visit. She gave me the time and space to voice my concerns, and gave me suggested ways to resolve some issues. Her advice has been helpful, and I would certainly visit her again if needed.”
“Elcin was very helpful and listened carefully to what I had to say. She gave me very sound advice at the end of the session which turned out to be absolutely correct. i would strongly recommend her to other people who have psychiatric problems.”
“Elcin and I worked through a very challenging period of my life. She was both supportive yet challenging and she has had a tangible positive impact on how I feel and the perspective I now have on my own situation. I would recommend working with her if you really want to make a change.”
“The booking process was efficient with clear direction of where to go and with whom I would be best aligned. Deborah is welcoming, empathetic, and is immediately able to recognise and put a client's concerns into context. She makes it clear from the outset that her client will drive the conversation on the subject they wish to discuss, and she will listen, ask questions where appropriate, and advise to achieve collaborative solutions. I felt immediately 'untangled' and at ease. I continued the process over subsequent weeks which then dealt with contributing issues on the periphery of the reason for my initial visit. After each visit I left with a clear appreciation of Deborah's findings and thoughts from our discussion, which for me resulted in enhanced self awareness about how I might influence a situation, and be aware of how my actions or words may affect others in order to build strong relationships both with family and in the workplace moving forward. Deborah's instant understanding and subsequent input into the issues we discussed made me realise that it's very easy to be on a routined 'treadmill' in life which isn't always healthy. To take a step back, have these sessions with her and reflect on her advice having voiced my concerns has been invaluable. I would highly recommend her and the process of therapy to anyone, even if they didn't think they needed it! This would not be a wasted experience for anyone, and Deborah goes above and beyond to ensure that is the case.”
“I found Jessica very easy to talk to and explain my situation and how I felt stuck. Jessica doesn’t preach or offer advice as such but gently draws your attention to things you say that are significant in understanding how you may have arrived at a given situation/crisis. I would go home and think about her comments, some of which were very illuminating. This has helped me find peace and move forward. I would recommend her counselling unreservedly.”
“Ashleigh was great she was so nice it was like I had known her for years very caring and totally understood my anxiety I would highly recommended Ashleigh to anyone I would go back to her again with any others issues in the future”
“I wish I'd done CBT sooner. I had got into a horrible cycle of worrying about everything and then worrying about the fact I was worrying! My sessions with Sian really helped me understand what was going on and gave me things I could actually do when my anxiety started. I'm not suddenly someone who never worries, but it doesn't take over in the way it used to.”
“Jessica was extremely helpful, allowed me to share and made the space feel very safe, we could discuss common feelings and experiences allowing me to better understand myself and the anxieties i was struggling with, she made sure to check in and encouraged me to not be afraid of change . You could not want someone more kind and understanding.”
“Sian is compassionate, professional and incredibly easy to talk to. She helped me see things from a different perspective without ever making me feel judged. Therapy with her has genuinely been one of the best investments I’ve made in myself.”
“Sian has a lovely way of making even difficult conversations feel safe. She is warm, insightful and asks the right questions at the right time. We left each session feeling more hopeful and with practical ideas to work on together. We also laughed a lot :-)”
“I felt listened to from the very beginning. Sian helped me understand why I was feeling the way I was and gave me practical strategies that I still use every day. I feel much more confident and in control of my life.”
“I originally contacted CBT & Counselling Kent for help with social anxiety. I had been struggling with it for years and was avoiding so many things because I was worried about how anxious they would make me. I chose an online session with Sian, and found the first couple of sessions quite hard because I wasn't used to talking about how I felt. But Sian was patient and I never felt pressured. What I liked about CBT was having practical things to try between appointments rather than just talking about the same problems every week. It wasn't an overnight change and it takes work, but I know now being anxious isn’t ‘just the way I am’ and now I'm doing things now that I would have avoided completely six months ago. For me that's a pretty big difference and I’m so grateful to Sian”
“Insightful and practical. I was able to take her advise and put it into practice. Shireen gave me an overview of myself, I had not seen before.”
“Excellent counselling. I felt safe and at ease and talked at length following the death of my wife. This definitely eased my grieving and aided my recovery.”
“She is professional, extremely empathetic and a very experienced therapist. I would recommend her without hesitation”
“Absolutely amazing, she helped me through some really difficult times.”
“Michelle was amazing and very professional. I enjoyed talking with her throughout and her guidance, knowledge and humour made it a pleasure and very educational. I learnt a lot and had great advice on how to move forward and it opened up further opportunities and information I could look at and learn from. She is an asset to your organisation. I was reticent going into this but she was brilliant throughout.”
